Wayne Dietz

EASTON Wayne P. "Buster" Dietz, 75, formerly of Easton, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in Gracedale. Born March 22, 1946, in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Evelyn R. (Dietz) Castiglia and a step-son of the late Eugene R. Castiglia, Sr. He graduated from Easton Area High School Class of 1965. Buster retired from the former IKG Industries, Palmer Township. Buster adored his daughter and granddaughter. Buster was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, University of Michigan and Easton Football fan. He was a member of the former Order of Fleas, Inc., Citizens Hose Company and Liberty Hose Company. Surviving is a daughter, Tonya Dietz and her companion Scott Ransom, of Wilson Borough; a granddaughter, Jahnny-Mir Getz and her companion Kevin Woolf; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. In addition to his mother and step-father, he was predeceased by two brothers, Dale R. Phillips and Eugene R. Castiglia, Jr.; a special aunt, Connie Vail and another aunt, Joyce Abel, and a niece, Stephanie Phillips Courtright. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 26th in Lester Pfeffer American Legion Post 611, 429 S. 16th Street, Easton.
