Sandra Frantz Schanenberger

Sandra L. Schanenberger EASTON Sandra L. Schanenberger, 73, of Easton, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital-Bethlehem surrounded by her loving family. Born March 14, 1947, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth C. and Elizabeth (Wagner) Frantz. She and her husband, Frank H. Schanenberger Sr., celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on September 18, 2020. Sandy graduated from Easton Area High School Class of 1965. She retired from The Children's Home of Easton, where she worked for 42 years. Sandy enjoyed her family, ceramics, shopping, traveling, camping and playing cards and games. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she served on council. Years ago she was a Girl Scout and was awarded many ribbons. Surviving in addition to her husband, Frank, Sr., are a son, Frank H. Schanenberger Jr. and his wife Bethany, of Sparta, WI; a daughter, Tara L. Smith, of Allentown; two sisters, Sharon Hughes and her husband William, of Wilson Borough and Jean Rowe and her husband Lance, of Saline MI, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, James W. Smith, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Wednesday in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township.
