Nancy Gerstenberg Perelli

CATASAUQUA Nancy L. Perelli, 75, of Catasauqua, PA and formerly of Riegelsville, PA passed away September 1, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Mulhenberg. She was born May 22, 1947 in Wilson Borough, PA and was the daughter of the late Donald and Harriet Snyder Gerstenberg. Nancy was a 1965 graduate of Easton High School and became a licensed beautician from Empire Beauty School in Easton. For many years, she owned and operated her own beauty shop called the Village Saloon in Riegelsville. In 2003, she married Lester Perelli and moved to Catasauqua. While living in Riegelsville she served in the Riegelsville Fire Company Auxiliary and American Legion Post #950 Auxiliary, was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and was a former Riegelsville Borough councilwoman. After moving to Catasauqua, she became a member of the Race Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed golfing, archery, and range shooting with her husband and friends. Nancy was never without a dog to pamper and over the years loved and cared for her Bichons Frises. Nancy is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Colette Gerstenberg, cousin Jill Bugby, god daughter Tiffany Howells and her beloved dog, Bree. Her dearly loved husband, Lester, died in 2021. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Rd., Riegelsville, PA. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to Race Street Baptist Church, 610 Race Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032.
