Kay Troxell Heebner

Kay L. Heebner ALPHA, NJ Kay L. Heebner, 71, of Alpha, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, May 17, 2019. Born on August 31, 1947, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Troxell and Margaret Smink. Kay was employed by Shenberger Insurance in Frenchtown, NJ, where she worked as an insurance broker for 20 years; she was also the proud co-owner of the Owl's Nest Gun and Bow in Warren Glen, NJ. She loved crossword puzzles, her pets and all of the neighborhood dogs who would frequently drop by. Along with her mother, Kay is survived by her husband of 49 years, James C. Heebner Sr., her son, James C. Heebner Jr. and his wife, Gwen, and her granddaughter, Haley Heebner. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Charles Stout. Calling hours are to be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 Second Ave, Alpha, NJ, with a memorial service to directly follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay's name to the charity of one's choosing.
