John Rock

John E. Rock, 29, of Newark, Del., a former Easton resident, died Monday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Sayre, PA, he was the son of Robert J. and Geraldine Carson Rock, now Wilmington, Del. He was a production manager of Delaware Steel Inc, Wilmington, Del. Serviving with his parents are his widow, the former Susan Long; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Helen W. Carson, Wilmington, Del; two brothers, Maj. James C. of the U.S. Air Force in Weisbaben, Germany, and Lt. Kenneth A. of the U.S. Coast Guard in Huntington, W,Va; a sister, Mrs. Margaret R. Oberkofler, Easton, MD. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Connell Furneral Home, Bethlehem. Interment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery.
