James McNicholas

James Benjamin McNicholas Jr., age 76, of Brandon, Florida passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1947 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to the late Josephine and James B. McNicholas Sr. James retired from United States Air Force, where he worked as an Attorney. He then transferred to the Office of Special Investigations. He graduated from Penn State and University of Louisville. In his free time, James enjoyed going to the beach, fishing and spending time with his family. He was also avid history buff and enjoyed visiting many of the historic battlegrounds, especially Gettysburg. James is survived by his beloved wife, Marie McNicholas; children, Jennifer (Edward) McNicholas-Worrell, James B. (Tiffany) McNicholas III, Eric McNicholas; sister, Henrietta McGraw; grandchildren, Adelina Worrell, Goerig Worrell, Ellie Worrell, Natalia McNicholas, James B. McNicholas IV; many extended family members and friends. A graveside service for James will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM, at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, Florida 33708.
