Edward A. Shupp Sr., 65, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away Monday, December 31st in Easton Hospital. Born: Edward was born in Easton, PA a son of the late Teresa Lesher and Richard C. Shupp Sr. Personal: Edward is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Miller Shupp who passed away in 2002. He was a baker and proprietor of the former Alpha Bakery and was previously employed by NY Italian Bakery of Phillipsburg, NJ. He was an alumnus of Easton Area High School Class of 1965. Memberships: Edward was a member of St. Philip and St. James Church in Phillipsburg, NJ. Survivors: He is survived by his sons, Edward A. Shupp Jr. of Phillipsburg, John P. Shupp Sr. and his wife, Stephanie of Palmer Twp; grandchildren, Madison and Patrick Shupp; a brother, Richard C. Shupp Jr. of Easton; sisters, Beverly Skrapits and Susan Shupp both of Easton; and Edward's Mother In-Law, Margret Betty Miller of Phillipsburg, NJ. Services: Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 5th from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA, Palmer Twp. 18045. A mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated for Edward on Saturday, January 12th at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th and Lehigh St. Easton, PA immediately followed by the interment of his ashes in Fairmount Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NJ.
