Antoinette Nuttal Dewalt

Antoinette "Toni" Dewalt, 54, of Easton, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, in Easton Hospital, after being stricken at home. Born: Nov. 25, 1947, in Easton, a daughter of Mary Cappellano Nuttal and David H. Knapp of Effort, Pa., and the late Walter E. Nuttall. Personal: She was a 1965 graduate of Easton Area High School. She was last employed as an EMT by Suburban Rescue Squad in Palmer Township. She had also been employed as a nurse's aid at the former Easton Home for Aged Women. She was a volunteer EMT for the Easton Emergency Squad. She enjoyed camping at Silver Valley Campgrounds in Brodheadsville, Pa. She attended Forks United Church of Christ. Survivors: her husband, Larry L.; her mother and stepfather; four sons, Charles J. Jr., Michael E., Stephen J. and C.J. Hitzel, all of Easton; a daughter, Tracy L. Davis of Easton; two stepdaughters, Susan McCollian of Martins Creek and Sheri Gaul of Fullerton; a sister, Jean Rose Howey of Easton; three stepsisters; a stepbrother; nine grandchildren; and two step-granddaughters. A stepdaughter, Stacy Lynn, died earlier. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
